Cute! Do you have baby pictures from when he was younger too?

Aw. So tiny and adorable! From what age do they have to live completely alone?

#10 They live completely alone at 8 weeks of age, in other words when they are 2 months old! When they are 4 weeks you separate them from their mother and put the males in one cage and the females in another cage. Then they can bee with each other another 4 weeks before they have to start to live alone in a cage, at that age they are considered young adults and no longer babies, and by that time they also start to get their adult behaviour and will kill each other over territory, so there for they must bee living in separate cages when they are 8 weeks old. They are solitary animals after all, goldhamsters. 🙂

Do they play or hang out with eachother when they are young enough to still live together? Or are they never interested in company from others?

#12 like most animal babies they do enjoy to play rough and tumble with each other to prepare themselves for adulthood and bee protective of their territory, this gold hamsters do in the wild, and the  pet gold hamsters does this too, in their cases, in case a hamster would show up on their domain.  They also put their sent on several things to mark their territory to tell other hamsters to stay off, same does your pet hamster in his cage cage, if the cage is new. But yes, just like all animal babies, they enjoy playing with each other and often sleep next each other too, for comfort. 🙂
